In other words, you want keyword combinations that will attract the attention of the buyers amongst your target audience. Individual keyword popularity on it's own isn't what its cracked up to be. Your mission is to find keywords and keyword phrases that are current. It doesn't matter what others in your industry are targeting. What they think your market is searching for may or may not be the realistic. That's why you'll have to test each keyword combination, take the time to find out what's current. Use whatever tools are available to make it easier, faster, and more manageable for you. Popular choices combined with other words can be powerful and highly-profitable, or they may prove totally useless to you. Testing is always the way to know for sure.

It's easy to get a list of possible keywords to target. but that's just the start. Common sense will rule out some keywords and keyword phrases right away, your instincts will tell you that others aren't quite right either. But what you will also find are some good suggestions, and by combining these with others, you can find powerful keyword phrases that make you money. However, you will never know until you test them.
